Tencent: Yuanbao and WeChat Agent Update

In our previous analysis of Tencent's Non-Deal Roadshow (NDR), we delved into the company's AI strategic plans. The most crucial point was the implementaion of AI in WeChat. Given that WeChat is an instant messaging platform with a 1 billion daily active users (DAU), any feature that gains traction within this ecosystem will gain massive traffic and significant commercial potential.

On April 15th, Tencent Yuanbao, a product from another division of Tencent, rolled out an update within WeChat. The feedback from users and investors we've gathered so far has been largely positive, indicating a strong expectation for the implementation of AI - driven features in Wechat.

1. A Quick Review of Yuanbao‘s Product Upgrade in Wechat

The release of the Yuanbao Red Packet Assistant released during the Spring Festival. Unlike other ChatGPT - like products, in WeChat, it serves as a friend (similar to a friend on WhatsApp) to provide users with relevant AI service.
