I’ve spent the past few days re-evaluating the risk/reward setup for bottom-fishing Applovin and speaking extensively with game developers, mobile OEMs, and people familiar with GOOG/META. I plan to publish an article next Monday addressing the short-selling issues around Applovin in detail.

SNOW is one of the top SaaS stocks I'm bullish on in 2025, as detailed in my previous long analysis, Long | Snowflake: Fundamental Bottom?, I highlighted several key points for my optimism about SNOW:

  • The new CEO is highly focused on revenue and aggressively investing in data engineering, which is the most suitable area for integrating AI within data infrastructure.

  • Contrary to widespread belief, Iceberg has been a net positive rather than a drag. Its growth post-GA has been impressive, driving incremental revenue in compute rather than storage.

  • The company is set to begin cost optimization in CY2025. If they significantly scale back hiring, margins should improve quickly.
